Hey Y'all!

I'm Emma R. Aguilar, the Owner & Event Stylist behind ERA Events

Hailing from the vibrant city of New Orleans, I grew up steeped in the traditions of Southern hospitality, where any excuse to celebrate is a good one. Now, planning exuberant celebrations is my calling! I thrive on creating magical, unforgettable experiences and have been the go-to party planner among my friends for years. My passion lies in crafting events that truly reflect my clients' unique personalities and incorporating sentimental details that recognizably radiate "you"!

Before diving headfirst into my event planning ERA, I practiced law and worked in sales and account management. These experiences taught me organization, valuable team skills across lots of personalities, and to always have a Plan B (and sometimes Plan C and D). What sets me apart is my unwavering positive attitude, boundless creativity, eye for detail, and commitment to going above and beyond.
When I'm not busy planning events, you can find me traveling (where I get much of my inspiration), trying out new restaurants, browsing interior design stores, or making bouquets with flowers from my community garden plot.
